Greater Lincoln Business Resiliency Forum (GLBRF)

The Greater Lincoln Business Resiliency Forum is a self help group consisting of representation from a multitude of businesses across greater Lincoln be they small, medium or large. Lincoln is disadvantaged in many respects due to its distance from the nearest workplace recovery options and with regards to the revenue costs involved in contracting to recovery solution providers. It is hoped that through this group a unique community workplace recovery solution can be developed which is accessible and affordable to all. We are particularly interested in developing business continuity planning for small businesses and for manufacturing organisations, which have been perceived as being under represented within the profession.

Until the Forum matures it was agreed at the inaugural meeting that a geographical boundary be placed to ensure that the Forum is well established before launching to a wider audience. Geographically, greater Lincoln was agreed as being within 30 mile radius of the City of Lincoln.  All business are welcome to apply to join the Forum no matter where their current location is within Lincolnshire and each application will be viewed independently. Applications should be emailed to Lynda McMullan who is the Current Forum Chair.

The GLBRF will create a small lead team who will be business representatives from across the business sector to ensure that the content of forum meetings meets the needs of the attendees.

Attendance at the Forum is free and is sponsored by the University of Lincoln.
